Executive Director

Kristan is the Executive Director for the Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice. Within this role, she communicates frequently with the physician members to ensure the Division delivers the best value possible. This involves answering lots of emails (lots!), attending leadership and collaboration meetings involving various stakeholders, and leading the division staff. Kristan joined the Division as the E.D. in December 2014, and has worked in healthcare throughout her entire career. She initially trained as a nurse, and after completing that schooling she decided not to practice and to instead enter the administrative and managerial side of the healthcare industry. After studying business for many years, Kristan completed her BBA and MBA, and has been working as a professor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University for many years. Kristan enjoys having careers within both the healthcare and education system as she sees them as integral pillars in our society.

In her time outside of work, Kristan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and also loves gardening.
