Patti Phillips has been involved in supporting not-for-profits for over 15 years and brings a diverse background in economic and community development. She has been a resident of the Kootenay Region for more than 30 years. She and her husband owned and operated businesses and raised three daughters in Kimberley. They now have five wonderful grandchildren. Along with spending time with family, Patti enjoys travelling and has begun spending winters in warmer climates exploring new places.

Patti joined the newly formed EK Division in 2011 as the Coordinator. Over the course of five years, she supported the board in building the organization to include numerous funding partners and over 10 contractors and staff. She has assisted in working towards achieving specific goals and outcomes, including improved patient outcomes and increased provider satisfaction.

As the organization continued to grow, Patti transitioned the lead role to the new Executive Director in 2016, and is now the Operations Lead for the Division. She oversees all of the society’s operations, including HR and Finance.
