Langley doctors are now available to provide patient care using telephone or video during the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to providing in-person care when necessary.

The use of virtual care allows patients to receive medical care from their own doctor. It protects not only patients, but their doctors and staff as well.

We urge patients to call your doctor first. They know you best.

Doctors will let patients know if an in-person visit is needed, and their staff will follow up to make arrangements.

Flatten the Curve - How To Practice Social Distancing

There are  many ways to practice physical distancing:

  • Limit activities outside your home
  • Use virtual options to connect with others
  • If you are out in public, try to keep 2 metres between yourself and others
  • ‎Keep your hands at your side when possible
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Cough into your elbow or sleeve
  • Avoid social activities in large gatherings (book club, bingo, exercise groups...)

To find out other ways to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve check out the BC Centre for Disease Control website Common Questions

Public can now call 1-888-COVID19 or text 604-630-0300 for non-medical information on the virus covering everything from travel recommendations to social distancing.

The line will be manned by service representatives from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, and information will be provided in more than 110 languages.
