Amy Thain - Clearwater Chapter Coordinator
Amy was raised in 100 Mile House, BC, and after many years of living Vancouver, was drawn back to rural living for its slower pace of life, friendly neighbours, and outdoor recreation opportunities. Amy decided to make Clearwater home in 2016, after falling in love with the town and the natural beauty of the North Thompson area.
Amy brings over 12 years of experience working in the education, non-profit and health care sectors in coordinator and clinical/social work roles. She is an experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor, previously practicing in a remote community in the Northwest Territories, and currently practicing part-time in Kitimat, BC.
When she’s not working, Amy enjoys kayaking, hiking, music, cooking and baking, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
