Dr. William Ho - Pemberton Physician Lead

Dr Will Ho is a rural physician in Pemberton, BC who obtained his medical qualification from the University of Queensland in Australia, as well as a fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Prior to his move to British Columbia in 2016, Dr Ho practiced primary and emergency care in a variety of rural settings in Australia and was also a commissioned medical officer in the Royal Australian Navy.

Dr Ho was drawn to the Coast Mountains of BC by their sheer natural beauty, its wonderful people and the infinite choice for outdoor pursuits. The privilege to practice primary care in such an idyllic setting was simply an opportunity he could not resist. He has a keen interest in adolescent mental health, sports medicine, emergency medicine and the provision of healthcare to First Nations/indigenous peoples having previously worked in a number of remote indigenous communities in Australia.

In his spare time, he can be found adventuring on some form of bicycle (mountain bike, road, gravel, pub bike, etc) during the warmer months and skiing/ski touring in the winter.
