Have you ever considered or thought about family practice research? Ever had any medical questions that you are curious about? If so, we would like to invite you to an exciting event here in the Shuswap North Okanagan.
Please join us for an evening of stimulating conversation and sharing of ideas with the aim of creating an appetite and enthusiasm for locally relevant research.
Dr. Brett Poulin and Dr. Stefan Grzybowski (Research Director with the UBC Department of Family Practice) are collaborating and will host the evening. Topics may include issues such as:
RSVP no later than 20 November to email@example.com.
This is part of the SNO Division of Family Practice “Better Medicine” initiative (see http://bettermedicine.ca).
The goal is to create supports for family physicians in our area who want to help answer questions relevant to our patients in the Shuswap and North Okanagan. These questions will be locally relevant and may be large or small. Some will involve research projects, and some may be quality improvement projects, but they will all be relevant to physicians and patients in our area. If they will improve patient care, or quality of life for either you or your patients, we want to hear your ideas.
Please save the date for an important meeting to review the residential care data for the past year as well as the $400 / bed allocation.
