Physician Recruitment, Retention, Retirement & Succession Planning

 

GOALS:

To attract physicians/locums to either share or take-over practices in the South Island Division area through the development of a registry that would be maintained by the Division.

 

KEY DISCUSSION POINTS / TOPICS:

Share locums among several practices. Extend pre-retirement phase of GP thus extending practice life. Enhance recruitment and Retention within the Division. Development of web based registry. Survey locums. Check with other agencies.
