The South Island Division of Family Practice Partners in Care program was established in December 2011, through a partnership with the Shared Care Committee (a joint committee of Doctors of BC and the Ministry of Health).  The program is delivered in partnership with the Victoria Division of Family Practice.

 

GOALS OF PARTNERS IN CARE PROGRAM:

• Build an environment that encourages and supports rebuilding the relationship between family physicians and specialists.
• Create opportunities for members of both the South Island and Victoria Divisions and local specialists to collaborate on solutions that improve patient care and own professional satisfaction.
