Did you know that having a regular family doctor can help keep you healthier? Over time, you and your doctor build a relationship. We learn about you, your life, and your medical history. That helps us better diagnose your health concerns more quickly.
There is high demand for family doctors in Vancouver. It can be difficult to find a local doctor that’s accepting new patients. To change that, the Vancouver Division of Family Practice is part of a provincial initiative called A GP for Me, which is working to ensure that everyone who wants a regular family doctor will have one. It’s a multi-year program and a top priority for us.
