  • Recruitment Incentive - $10,000
  • Fee Premium – 4.62%
  • Annual Flat Fee - $5,318.28
  • Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum years 3&4 in the community, to a maximum of $4,400/annum after 4 years.

Port Alberni

  • Recruitment Incentive - $10,000
  • Fee Premium – 7.98%
  • Annual Flat Fee - $9,186.12
  • Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum years 3&4 in the community, to a maximum of $4,400/annum after 4 years.

Full/part time Locums required to cover a collegial family practice in beautiful Port Alberni. This practice is part of a young, dynamic team in a bright and newly renovated clinic. Cross-coverage is available with the two other physicians in this office. The staff are experienced and friendly. There is also a full time RN available to help with complex patients and paperwork. EMR is Med Access (remote access can be arranged). There is an in-house pharmacy, physio and holter services. There is also surgical room with all the gear necessary for minor procedures.

This position is available anytime between June 2024 and September 2024. Start and end dates are flexible.  Preferred hours are Monday – Friday 9-3 but can be flexible to suit.

No weekend shifts, on call or hospital work required (hospital privileges not necessary). No urgent care or ER work required but may be available if desired.
