Doctors

All of our physicians are dedicated to providing excellent patient care. They are licensed to practice in British Columbia and are members in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

Services

Our clinic offers both family practice and walk-in appointments. We do various office procedures including: dressing changes, cryotherapy, lesion removal, skin biopsy, laceration repair, splinting, IUD insertion/removal, injections, etc. Our registered nurses are certified to complete Pap testing, among other procedures. Our doctors do not practice obstetrics nor do they hold admitting privileges to Vernon Jubilee or Kelowna General Hospital.

Appointments

Please inform our staff about your reason for booking. This allows us to book your appointment for the appropriate amount of time. We ask that you come to your appointment with one concern to be discussed. Additional concerns will need to be addressed at a subsequent visit. If you are unable to make your appointment or need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. If you do not show up for your appointment without notice, your appointment will be marked as a “no show”. This may result in a charge to you which we will expect to be paid before future visits. If this happens more than once, you may lose your privilege of being a patient at our clinic. We value your time and appreciate the same.

All walk-in patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. The only exception to this would be a patient who requires immediate medical attention. In this instance, this patient would be seen first.

For family practice patients, non-urgent concerns should be addressed in a regular booked appointment. These are typically 10 minutes long. For continuity of care, it is recommended to see your family doctor for routine follow up visits, chronic disease management, and prescription refills. We would be happy to book your next appointment for you before you leave our clinic.

Complete physical exams, annual exams, driver’s medicals and special procedures take longer. These appointments are usually booked for 30 minutes.

We do offer same-day appointments for urgent issues. Either come in and see us or call the clinic in the morning to book.

Wait Times

Please visit www.medimap.ca for walk-in wait times. Because of so many variables that come into play, our estimated wait time is exactly that - an estimate.

Test Results

Test results are not given out over the phone. If tests results are abnormal, we will contact you to book a follow up appointment or give you direction regarding further treatment. Please book an appointment if you would like to discuss results.
