After initial planning, it's time to implement the changes designed to improve the current process. Changes are tested and assessed for effectiveness through PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) cycles.

Successful implementation depends on good ideas, an awareness of how those changes will affect staff and patients, and skill in managing the process.
